Mother Goose Storytime Wrap-Up!!!

Today was our last Mother Goose toddler time for the summer. We were attending once a week in the evenings, great for working parents!!! Jackson enjoyed our little play group as he was able to run around with a great bunch of kids and Mommy & Daddy got to enjoy some quality time with him.

We learned a ton of great new songs with lots of fun actions (complete with songbook to take home!). Heard some funny stories with lots of sound effects and cute motions (J-Man is still singing the 'Mortimer' song 'bang bing bang'). And Jackson especially loved snack time, always the first in line of course!!!!

We are sad that tonight was our last night and hope that it will continue again in the fall. A big huge hug and thanks to Shannon & Teresa for an amazing time and all their hard work!!!

Coastal Getaway...

We were recently out on the coast to visit the family. Actually, Jackson & I were visiting while Scott was working at the new arena in Abby. So we sort of broke even on the spending...Good Deal!
We stayed with Aunty Joy & Uncle Scott on our first two nights in town. Thank goodness they have a pool as it was a hot weekend. Lots of air conditioned shopping and chilling out with the new super cool bubble machine.

On Daddy's one day off, we headed into the city for a little 'Daddy spending'. Then it was his choice for lunch at Vera's Burgers.... the onion rings were my favourite. But we had it to go as there was a great little park just up the street. And such a beautiful day in which to enjoy it all!
On our last day, we headed to Grammie & Grandpere's for an overnight visit! Jackson loved his new little bike that Grammie had found at a neighbourhood garage sale. He loves his 'Bike-go' eventhough his feet don't quite reach the pedals and someone has to push him to make it 'Go'. He was also very helpful in watering the flowers in Grammie's garden. But I know for a fact that he had more of a watering than they did.

It was a quick visit, but a good relaxing one before heading back to the grind. We even got in a little geocaching on the way home in Bridal Falls. We had a great time family...can't wait to see you at the end of the month

Here's our geocachers after finding the loot and planting their 'travel bug'.
